Whip up a batch of smooth, velvety Chocolate Fudge in no time, using only 2 allergy-free ingredients.
Anyone ready for some chocolate? My 2 Ingredient Fudge is one of the easiest, yet most delicious recipes on the blog and I’m so excited to share it with you today! ItΒ requires no special ingredients or equipment — justΒ chocolate, SunButter & a microwave! {insert squeals of delight} .
This fudge is not the dense, overly sweet kind, candy shoppe type that makes your teeth hurt. Instead, I prefer a decadent, super smooth, melt in your mouth version, which is exactly what this 2 ingredient fudge is. Best of all, I love that I can whip up a batch with simple, allergy-friendly ingredients that I always have in my pantry like vegan chocolate chips & SunButter spread.
Seriously the 2 ingredients I don’t think we could live without……GAME CHANGERS my friends. I’ve used this combination more times than I can count but here are a few of our favorites:
- SunButter Protein Cups
- SunButter S’mores Dip
- Chocolate Sunbutter Surprise Cupcakes
- SunButter Mousse (no-bake, kid-approved)
- Homemade Twix Bar
- Heck Ya Bars
I could keep going, but you get the idea. We love SunButter + Chocolate!
Tips & Tricks for Recipe Success 🎉
- Use the microwave! Really!!!! I made this the first time on the stove top but cut my time in half when using the microwave on batch 2.
- Line your pan with parchment for easy removal from your baking dish.
- Use an 8×8 baking dish for thicker fudge and cut into 1″x1″ squares (not shown because we ate them all) for the perfect size bite-sized treats.Β
- Sprinkle with a little flaky sea salt for an extra layer of decadence.
- The fudge can take up to 2 hours to set in the refrigerator, so plan accordingly.

Easy 2 Ingredient Fudge
This easy chocolate fudge is smooth, creamy, and extra chocolatey. All you need is one bowl, 2 ingredients, and a microwave!
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups "safe chocolate chips (like Enjoy Life Foods)
- 1 1/2 cups SunButter spread (we used Natural)
- Optional:Β
- sprinkle of flaky sea salt
Instructions
In a microwave safe bowl, place both chocolate and SunButter in it and microwave on high, 1 minute. Stir and then continue to microwave in 20 second increments until melted. (Usually 1.5 minutes is all that is needed).
Meanwhile, line your 8x8 baking dish with parchment, leaving a little extra to run up the sides which will work as a handle to pull the fudge out when set.
Pour melted mixture in pan and spread evenly. Refrigerate 60-90 minutes until set.
Slice into squares and keep refrigerated and covered until ready to serve.
Notes
You can also use the double boiler method if that is your preferred method.Β

I love how easy this is! My mom and I made fudge every Christmas when I was younger, but I haven’t had it since going vegan. I can’t wait to make it again!

I need a napkin to wipe away the drool trickling down the side of my mouth right now. This is such a great recipe!! I can totally see how delicious this is just by looking at the pictures.

You read my mind! I made this exact blend the other day, but for a fudge filling, not so much for straight up fudge – love it!
Nicole Dawson says
You’re right, it is not the sugary fudge that comes from condensed milk and lots of sugar, but it’s smooth and so delicious. Looking forward to seeing your recipe!

Easiest recipe ever! I used only a half cup each of vegan semi-sweet chocolate chunks and sunbutter and set it in a smaller Pyrex container. It took just over a minute to melt and another couple to stir, pour and put in the fridge. And it is such a delightful treat for my son with multiple food allergies. We all enjoyed it, Thank you!
Nicole Dawson says
This is awesome! So glad it’s a treat your son can have.

Can you use coco butter powder or cacao butter powder instead of chocolate chip?
Nicole Dawson says
I wish I could tell you that I tried this recipe using either of those but I just haven’t yet. I know others have been success with cacao butter so that may be worth trying. Let me know if you use either other options and how it turns out.
