One would think that our home is constantly full of sweet treats from the posts I share. And although that is partially correct, the other 3/4 of our day is filled with amazing fruits and veggies, beans and legumes. So, for the sake of showing that we do actually eat healthy (I mean, I am a Health Coach after all), I wanted to share some of my “go-to” avocado sandwiches.
The first is SUPER easy and a lower carb option.
Open-Face Spicy Avocado Sandwich (pictured above)
It is basically toasted sprouted bread, topped with Just Mayo Sriracha spread, then layered with fresh basil, avocado slices and tomato.
Pretty easy right?
And if you want to avoid Gluten, just opt for GF bread OR use a lettuce wrap for a really low carb option.
And in case you’re feeling like a rebel and want to eat 2 pieces of bread……..
This one is for you!
Just remember to throw on some lettuce and extra tomatoes so you can have yourself an A.L.T (Because bacon is so over-rated)

Avocado Sandwich with Garlic Chili Oil.
Again, super easy which is a MUST with our busy schedules.
Instead of using a heavier cream base, I opted for a light olive oil blend, drizzled on top. The oil I had already was infused with a garlic chili blend but you could make it yourself using this delicious recipe from Playful Cooking. Soooo much better than the store-bought kind!
Then last, but not least, my Smashed Avocado Sandwich.
Rich & creamy avocado, slightly mashed then blended with sea salt, crushed chili peppers & 1 TB. lemon juice.
I’m hungry already!
